So I am assuming I have no ABS braking due to every time I brake hard I skid (dry or wet pavement on new tires). Will this be good or bad for 4wheelin? Im thinking the guy didnt hookup the ABS when he installed the 9" out of a 2000 Ford (dont know what model).

You will not want ABS on the trails. It can turn a harmless situation into a major problem in a heartbeat.

You are better off without it on the trail, as said above it can cause some issues at times. I really don't know how you could make the ABS work on it anyway.

IF your TJ had ABS originally (doubtful) and the 9" BS works like the 8.8's, it can be made to work, but it's not really worth it, IMO. Offroad, I'd want none of it.

Awesome! Ill leave it as is then. I really didnt want to go about hooking it up anyways. And if I need to slam on brakes and start sliding towards a car I can just pull off the road to avoid them. It doesnt bother me too bad so thats good news then. Just making sure the guy who put the axle in didnt miss somethin vital to the trails.
