sweetk30 New Member Joined May 2, 2010 Location horseheads,ny not nyc May 19, 2010 #2 need a scanner to clear the code. but most abs codes come right back so you will need to find out why its on. might be a wheel bearing going in the front. this is the comon cause up here in the north east rust belt. any good local shop other than dealer can do this work also. no need to go to the dealer and spend big money.

The abs module is separate from the PCM, so either a dealer or a shop with a TECH 2 scanner will have to check/clear the code (Not the same as the little scanner advance/autozone has).
