I am going SOA next week, should I go ahead and stick in a 2" add-a-leaf kit while I'm at it? I found a kit of 4 for 100.00.
Thanks
Guy

It depends on if you need that much lift. That would end up being around 7" of lift.

Sorry that was dumb. 88 YJ going to...

1999 Ford Explorer 8.8 rear axle, disc brakes Detroit Locker
4.88 Yukon gears custom diff guard , 31 spline axle shafts with spare
shafts for both sides
1995 Wrangler Dana 30 front axle, 4.88 Yukon gears LockRite locker
PosiLock axle disconnect
5 x 35x12.50 BFG MT
Tom Woods slip yoke eliminator tailshaft kit
Thanks

as a general rule add a leafs ride rough. I would do it w/o them and then if I needed more clearance I'd cut/hammer/even BL before I ran addaleafs.

then again I'm a samurai guy and we need all the help we can get

it depends on how saggy your stock packs are. if it is really droopy you may need that extra boost from the AAL's.

Make sure you plan on adding a traction bar with the SOA if you are using stock springs.
