Albert Haynesworth's Rock Crawler....

yeah thats it...some queer place called top gun re-did some stuff on it apparently. Looks like they did a decent job though. I just thought it was cool that someone like him enjoys the sport. I saw some footage of him actually wheelin it with some normal looking rigs on the pre-game show tonite.
 
I looked up their company...not much to see...I tried to see what work they did to it(couldn't tell)
 
they re-did the rear tube work a lil bit and added the air shocks instead of the 1/4 elliptical. looks like mostly show trucks and diesels. looks like the cruiser works pretty good though for being so tall. Yeah google wont turn up that footage of the actual wheeling from ESPN tonight.

We were asked by Albert Haynesworth (formerly of the Tennessee Titan and now w/ the Washington Redskins) to make some changes to his Toyota rock crawler. Just wanted to share some pics and some of the things we were asked to do.




The vehicle was originally built by Proffitts Cruisers, we were merely asked to make some changes to suit Alberts needs. This is what we did




Mounted 6 rock lights under the vehicle for rock crawling




Custom mounted: 14 Travel 2.5 Sway A Way Air Shocks in the rear and removed the rear quarter elliptical suspension. This required reworking the tube frame in the rear for the upper shock mounts.




Installed Twisted Customs Sway Bar on custom mounts




Installation of a PowerTank CO2 tank




Installation of limiting staps and custom bump stops




Albert requested a customer removable step so he could get in and out easier, so we custom made that.




Our tech did a pre-trail inspection over the whole rig, and put Royal Purple in the diffs and changed the engine oil too. We also worked some quarks out of the rear steer set up.
