80's model Allis-Chalmers 5020. Been sitting for 25+years. Water got in through the exhaust and froze resulting in a cracked oil pan which looks like its part of the block. I know these things are hard to find parts for, so this is a parts tractor. Has around 500 hours on it so everything is nice. I really would love to see this go to someone that could use parts rather than just hauling it off for scrap.

$500 obo

So much want, so little excuse to buy!

Got a pic of the cracked block? Does it look repairable or just trashed?

x2. That thing had a loader and I might have another project.
FWIW if its the oil pan is not a part of the block but there could be other damage.

Not available. But might be able to fix it. I'm definitely interested in it, pending some info.

Yea that's pretty well shot lol.

Since it's removable....about 500 dollars in nickel rod and gas to preheat and get to welding! You can run a stick.

So you could do it for a hundo? Deal.

Of course a weldor wants to weld it...
I'd cut the broken junk off, throw it on the mill, skim it flat, drill and tap a hole every ~3" and then bolt a piece of 1/2" aluminum on the bottom with some RTV.

Just put an o-ring groove at that point

Ehhhh. I was suggesting not volunteering. Cast and oil soaked old cast ....well any cast is a challenge.

The other side of this is the fact the belly and related adds a whole lot of beef to something that doesn't really have a frame. 🥴

Dang Gavin. You know how much I like tractors with cracked engines.
