ALMOST READY BUT NEED ADVICE PLEASE HELP

I HAVE PUT PROPANE ON MY SMALL BLOCK CHEVY. IT DOES FINE BUT WHEN IT GETS UP TO RUNNING TEMP IT STARTS WHISTLING.PLEASE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

The caps key is the one on the far left, middle of the keyboard.
When you press it, the little green light will turn off.

well, assuming you didn't change anything else, you've either got a leak at the base of the mixer to the intake manifold, or possibly a torn diaphragm in the mixer.

Either time for a gasket, or a rebuild kit methinks.

Interesting that it only happens once warmed up though neither one of those should make a bit of difference.

I have propane on my sbc. It makes the same sound, even when it was all new. I just pretend it's cheering me on!

That's friggin hilarious, and makes me wish I had an intake whistle!

We had a fork lift at work that would do that and i believe thats exactly what it was, a hole in the diaphragm. It wouldnt make any noise at first but after it got warmed up and you drove it for a while it would drive you crazy.
