alot of play in the stering wheel

i have a 99 xj sport it has a 10 inch long arm lift with 36 13.50 irocks and a 1 inch spacer it has now sway bar disconects or anything but it has alot of play in the stering wheel like you have to turn it a 3/4 for it to turn the tires nothings broke i was just wondering what i could do to fix it i was thinkin hydro stearing lmk what u think

have someone else turn the wheel while you watch the entire system. it should become apparent where the play is happening. in the shaft, or the box, or the tierod/drag link itself.......

Watch the steering box also. You may have some of flex in the uni-body, a steering box brace may help. It helped mine a lot.

Mine was play in the steering box. After I replaced that my steering was tight. Also check your track bar mount on the drivers side. If it is loose it will cause the body to roll before your tires even think about turning.

Disconnecting the sway bars will make it sway more...
