Looking at another enclosed trailer and I'm trying to figure the weight on it.The trailer GVWR is 7000 and the max cargo weight is 5630.So do I subtract the 5630 from the 7000 to get the trailer weight?? Or have I over looked something?? This will be goin behind Tonya's Tahoe,otherwise I woudn't care.

I believe the difference in those numbers would be what’s already sprung weight. Trailer will definitely weight more

How a lot of em cheat the capacity these days is:
Rated capacity(GAWR+10% assumed tongue weight)-GVWR=trailer weight

That's assuming they're accurate at all with the empty weight.

IMO a single axle 7x14 enclosed should weigh in about 1600-1800 lbs.

It’s dual axle so I’m thinking 2k-ish
