AMC 20 Upgrade

Hi
First post here, so don't flame me to bad.
I have an AMC 20 with 3.15 open carrier
Would anybody be willing to share some advice on upgrading to a posi and going to a 3.54 gear set.
Manufacturers-suppliers?
Was also looking into 1 piece axles. My housing length isn't typical jeep size so I guess I need custom sized axles, any sugestions on a source?
I live in the Raleigh NC area..any shops that could be recommended to set it up?

The more common widths of M20's:
- CJ "NarrowTrac"
- CJ "Widetrac"
- Waggy width HD M20... which already has 1pc shafts

IMHO, it could be a waste of time & money to regear... especially since 3.54 was the most common ratio (next to later 2.72) found in a 20. It would be MUCH easier & cheaper to simply find a used axle like yours and swap it in.

If you have a CJ width 20 & you don't get in a rush, you'll likely find one that already had the shafts upgraded.

Fill us in on what you plan to do with the axle... LS offroad doesn't gain you that much.
