I wheel a cj-5 and some times I loose all brake pedal. This happens only after I flex the jeep hard on the trail. I regain brakes after I pump them a time or two. Just concerned cause when I really need them that pump or two takes an eternity when I know I'm going to hit a big rock. Any ideas would be helpful. Maybe I should bleed them?

Try bleeding first. Then consider a hydroboost brake master cylinder assembly since you have larger tires and low gears.

HAve you converted the front to disc yet? The rear may have mud and causing them to not be adjusted properly. Also check your rubber hoses.

-It's got stock discs up front
-Mud is a possibility but I try to stay out of mud if possible.
-All hoses are braided

Still haven't had time to work on it. But keep the Ideas coming.
