any bidy running a toyota in the ecors

yup, 89 4Runner.

Mike runs an 85 truggied truck.

B-class has a truggy or two and some F-toys.

Bring it!

The straight axle would be the best bet, stronger and flexes better. A-class must have stock style sus.

Yup if you want to run A-class, gotta go with what it came with, can't SAS it.

All truth be told, Joe D has been making by OK w/ IFS Isuzus.

If the front isn't locked, the IFS really isn't any weaker for this, the lack of travel is your biggest problem. But that can be overcome. This isn't rock crawling.

Kyle has done well in his in A class
Dave....well Dave is fun to talk to.
Mark Z has won 2 B class races in an Ftoy.
Wade has at least podiumed 1x in an Ftoy

well

just wondering what all there is to it i looked at the rule but not very pacific ....or just that simple..i used to dirt track race and their were alot more rules...i guess im not use to simple in racing :driver:

Simple... stock style susp.ie no tunable shocks, if came ifs must be ifs...
33" tires and one locker or
35" tires open open
Keep all the body and doors or a cage
Pretty simple

What was the least built rig in C class?? We are stuck between B and C the way our is right now.

At the harlan race it would be Ken's XJ (Bruiser), my buggy would definetly be next in line. Most courses have not been too bad IMO, the Harlan race was just brutal for a budget vehicle (and a 4cyl at that), heck, it took alot of the big $$ buggies out on the 1st lap as well. Stick with a 5 speed for reliability would be my suggestion, and definetly have a very good cooling system. My buggy got to 215-220 in the race, somewhere in thst range it will go into 'limp' mode to keep from overheating, but once it cools back down it does fine. Not ideal in a race I don't guess but it keeps from blowing the engine.

A 4cyl can be competitive, if you plan to do all the races I'd make sure you have some wheelbase (105-115), something really short like a Zuki would have gone over coming down some of the stuff we did.

Thanks, how about a 2 cyl LOL We are running a rotory engine in his with a few mods to it. Wheel base is kinda short, but this is gonna be a partial season for the first one so we will have to pick and choose our course.

It has VERY good horsepower for sombody used to 65HP It was right at 160 and then I did a few more things to it. It would spin through 3rd in the car. I want to see how he does in the local go fast stuff before I travel that far.
