pretty sure they are yukon gears (the only manufactuer I know of in Washington is Randys) if so then they should be pretty good gears

Randys doesn't "make" Yukon gears. They re-box other manufactures gear sets. We are a dealer for them, the last few sets of Yukon gears I've gotten had Dana stamped on them,some had Richmond as well. Never had a problem with them if set up correctly.

Genuine actually does that with some model/ratios as well because there is only one manufacturer making that specific model gearset. 8.8 4.88s is an example. No matter whose you get, they all come from the same mfg company.

I would be interested to see what kind of gears these are.....
