Good Afternoon, I'm trying to find a good group of people to hangout with and learn all I can on building buggies, taking stuff apart and putting it back together with nothing left over....lol. I have built tons of cars and motorcycles and have now made the change to learn about crawling. I have just bought a toyota rig and need to put longfields in it and maybe do like a air ride and 4 link on the back. It waould be super cool if you had a nice shop to hangout at and just piddle with our rigs. Let me know if you would be my interested...I will include of my rig, and this is know stuff I need to do.
This rig is all toyota, 81 axles, 3.o v6 punched 40 over, downey headers, 529 locked front and rear.
To Do list:
=Put Longfields in.
=Front wheel bearings.
=New gaskets areound 3rd members and housing. small leak.
=Maybe a rear main seal. New oil sending unit.
=Figure out a steering problem, Idler arm and steering linkage is hitting the Leafs when extended or stuffed.
=Check universails.
= bend some tubing for underneath skids.
= Fix broken off grease fittings.
