i have an '06 chevy colorado extended cab. i really want a box like the jl audio stealth, but don't wanna spend jl $$.

anybody got skills in the audio department, i can get some specs on the box. or do you guys think moneywise i would come out about the same having someone make it as buying a new jl one?
btw, that cupholder is factory, but it's up against the wall, and holds the jack. it's all relocated to in front of the box, and i think it's even nicer than factory because it puts a nice armrest back there.
 
Look around ebay.. I got a box that's better than the JL one for $150.
 
I used to make them. The wooden ones that is. I hav enot made any fiberglass ones. I would show some of the boxs but 2 of them were stolen before I could take them. That box looks simple enough to do. You could easily make it yourself for about $30 for a wooden one with carpet, which is what that one look like.
 
a wooden box with cloth or carpet on it like that looks to be easy enough for u to make yourself... and as far as a sub goes, take the one you have now and sit it in between the seats to see if it will fit in the direction you wont it to fire (will prob need around 0.5-1" all the way around the lip to mount)

then just decide what type of box you want (prob sealed or ported) and find out how big the interior dimension (cubic ft) needs to be for that sub in that type of box

i have a program on my computer, i think, that will help with the sizing... just let me know ur specs or email and I can tell u or send u the program...
