Trying to get my son into the local Salvation Army t-ball league, but we missed the cutoff and are waitlisted. I talked to them and if I can get 8 kids together we can form a team, I'm going to be coaching.

So far we have my son, two of his friends and possibly my neice.

It costs $95 for the season, there is like a month of practices and then like a month and a half of games. Goes from March 21st- June 6th.

Kid must be 4 as of as of April 1, 2011.

Games and practices will be at the SA Communiy Center at 902 Wake Forest Road in Raleigh.

Anyone interested? We have a week and a half to get kids together, my son really wants to play. We just happened to hear from someone about this league, I was looking for one to get him into and we just heard about this last night.

No kids, but I have coached a T-ball and coach pitch team at the Salvation army for the last 3 years. It is a bunch of fun... make sure you have 2 other coaches... you will need ALL the help you can get! You will spend more time chasing kids that are trying to catch butterflies in the outfield than coaching :shaking:

Let me know if you have any questions about the leagues

That's walking distance from my house... no players but I'll have a tiny person to bring to 'watch' soon. ;)

Might be interested. My son turns 4 march 19th but he is definately on the smaller/less experienced side. Let me know if you are still looking. Also what part of town are the practices on?

Has anyone signed up? Tomorrow is the first official practice, but we don't have enough kids. A lot of people where were supposed to sign up didn't sign up, so we only have three kids - my son, his friend, and my niece. We need more! If we can get enough, we'll start next Friday!
