Any recreational land type places in SC/NC that sell individual lots with full access to land

I moved up from Florida years ago and we have a place in Holopaw that offers land for $1000 which allows you access to the entire 10 acres for 4 wheeling, camping, and pretty much everything in between. http://www.holopawfl.com/

Does anyone know of an area like that in SC or NC? I see hunt clubs but I am not a hunter. Just looking for a place to cruise around and camp on the weekends.
 
Uwharrie is $5 a trip or $30 for a year, its much larger than 10 acres and you will be blown away. Check it out.
 
Is beer allowed at campsites there? Obviously I won't be drinking during the ride but I do enjoy a beer around the campfire.
 
no beer is not allowed. it's a public park.

i drink there(at the campsite) but i'm a firm believer that if you are not being an ass there is no reason for them to harass you.
i have said it many, many times, camping without beer is.............. just sleeping in the woods.

i am not saying that is ok to break the law, if i were to get in trouble for drinking there,it would be my own fault.
 
I hear ya, same is true for all the other campgrounds I have been in. Thanks for the info, may check it out this weekend.
 
i dont drink...so i could be wrong, but isnt alcohol allowed in the campsites, just not the trails?
