I have the tools, but not the time... My dump truck is my money maker. There's no way I could turn it into a weekend project like my gooseneck trailer rebuild that's going on 5-6 months now??? Forgot? Winter sank in on that one... Ramps and she's finally done hopefully this weekend?
Anyways, welcome to do it at my shop or at yours. 8'X 12' bed. Have 3 - 8'X4'X3/16" smooth sheets ready. Heavy bastards! I have a wrecker boom. Forklift would be better. Tad too heavy for my bobcat.
Not in a hurry but would like to schedule it ahead of time. I've got a load of mulch scheduled to deliver this weekend (3-21-15). Floor has holes but manageable so far as long as I ain't hauling water.
I would like for the old bed to be cut off and new installed. Has like 1" welds like every 1-2 feet, so maybe 70+ - 1" welds and cut out the stake pockets. Truck is a 1979 F-350.
Please let me know and I could send pictures for a quote?
Thanks!
