Any upholstery people on the board?

Anybody on the board do any upholstery? Auto or home?
The reason I am asking is I have a few questions and I would like to talk to someone who has/is doing it.

I have an Industrial sewing machine and about 20 hours under my belt sewing up a soft top. But like anything I've ever done for the first time, I learned many things NOT to do next time...
And I have an antique living room suit that would be worth thousands if covered but right now I couldn't give it all away.
