Anybody else get nervous when you take the trail rig to get inspected? I have a turn signal that only works when the moon is just right. I took it in yesterday to get it inspected before it expired and I had a brake light out. But the turn signal worked!! They replaced the brake bulb and slapped a sticker on. On the way home, the turn signal didn't work anymore! At least it's legal for another year!!:driver:

some of don't have to go through the mess of an inspection sticker built in1948

Ya mean you go some place that actually inspects one ?

I'll inspect whatever somebody wants to bring me, it can have beadlocks, full hydro, no doors and roof, if it's safe and it follows the letter of the law it gets a sticker. What gets me nervous is when the auditor is there and notices that you're due for inspection so he has you do it while he watches.

It doesn't have to be smogged, but it has to have a safety inspection. 35 years old is the cutoff. (and that will no doubt be changed at some point as well).

this reminds, I need to get mine done monday

I have no fear, I am not THAT bad as far as inspections go, but I do know the guy doing it so I do not worry

used to be a kick to go and give hand signals when they wanted you to do turn signals.I've had them stand there for 30 seconds waiting on a flashy light.Built in 1950 and again in 1992

Your sig says your in Concord. If you haven't already, check out the little BP station, just north of S&D Coffee. I've taken my Jeep there for years and have never had an issue. The guys I've dealt with there would rather shoot the $hit with you about your truck, than get tied up with specifics.

That is where I take it. You're right, but I still get nervous.
