Anybody ever pressure washed their foot???? (Nice Pics Now)

Yea I know this is a stupid question but I am the dumb ass that did it today. I was PW the carpet of a boat when I hit my foot from less than an inch barefooted with 10degree 3500psi 13.5hp beast of a PWer.
I have never seen that much blood that fast. made a movie seem weak. It was gushing 8"-10" like a water hose. So bad that I had to call 911. but choose to skip the $800 ambulance ride and have my employee drive me.
anyways..... no broken bones but possible nerve damage, gotta go to a foot specialist tomorrow at 3:30.
this was the most pain i have ever had, doc said it was comparable to a gun shot wound.

I had a buddy that was cleaning out a paint sprayer, shot his finger and instead of water it was thinner. Not as much pressure, but it went into a previous cut and did real damage to a finger. The finger turned black and swelled up huge.
Half of it had to go!!
Sorry to hear that about your foot.

Not the foot but I got my arm through a sweatshirt. Just skinned me about the size of a quarter. Gotta agree it hurt like hell.

This got me thinking about a trailer we built at the place I used to work. It was a VERY lame idea, but whatever paid the bills I guess... I searched for the website they used to have (www.waterjetball.com) and even did a google search, I guess they must have gotten in $$$ trouble, either it wasn't popular enough (because it was stupid) or someone got hurt, who knows.

Anyways, the boss's daughter and a few of her friends were playing in it at the shop (testing it), she accidently cut her leg when she aimed one of the guns down, pretty good gouge in her leg... But the people wanted it to be that powerful.

I did however find a video on youtube, and let me tell you, it is CORNY. You gotta watch it, the music it like 80's music...

well its not too bad.... doc said 2 weeks before I can even walk on it again but I have already started to walk with that cool shoe the ER gave me.

doc said the 2nd largest artery in the body runs thru the foot right where I PWed nicking it, thats why there was soo much blood.

It hurt like hell all yesterday even after two shots of dilotton (10X stronger than Morphine) and 2 Oxycodone's, but today I took 2 more pain pills and then got sick so I am just gonna stick it out w/o pills.

Actually now I would rather have this happen than my 2 ACL tears. Like I said its not too bad, I got pretty lucky

pics when my dad gets back and I can get hold of his cell

Nice....i did the same thing....straight through a rubber boot but not as bad of a cut....its amazing what 3500psi will do.

I doubt I got that close... I was pressure washing the jeep with the ones at the car wash.... my foot slipped while I was kneeling, my arm/ hand slipped while holding the pressure washer... and my left wrist got the impact. no blood... for a few seconds it was white as snow... then turn red like a bad burn.... then hurt for a few weeks.

After showing my wife this thread, she reminded me of what happened to one of her co-workers daughter 2 yrs ago.
Short version....Dad using very high pressure washer on driveway around 3500 psi or so....mailman brings a package....dad takes it inside, leaving p.washer unattended for like 15 seconds....8yr old son picks it up and pulls trigger....6 yr old sister in the way.....water went into her mouth between upper lip and teeth....water basically tore its way between skin and facial bones all the way up to just under her eyes....no eye damage at all which is very lucky, but did awful damage with 3 surgeries to fix it. No scars at all to the outside of face. All damage is hidden.
I guess if you just imagined , instead of your foot, point the thing up and under your top lip.....ouch!! It only took about a seconds worth of time to do all that damage. Melissa is doing fine now, but is scared of even a water fountain or water hose...I can see why.

You're more than likely allergic to codeine, lots of people are and it usually reflects itself in naseau. Let your doctor know and he can prescribe you something else.

i doubt it's an allergy. more likely a side effect. try taking 1 pill instead of 2, o even just 1/2 a pill. then gradually increase as needed.

2 oxycodones is alot of dope.

Since no one else ask, what are you going to do with those pills you're not taking?.:D

not going to jail......

i am gonna unrap it later and will post pics, right now i am trying to get them off my dads phone

and i would rather take a nail thru the hand, atleast it would take the pain away from my foot
