I need a pair of seal kits for the cylinders on the 4n1 bucket on my skidsteer, and list price is $240 EACH! I could buy new cylinders cheaper than that, but they are an uncommon shape so it’s not that easy. Part number is KV15538. Anybody got a Deere hookup and can help a brother out?

Look up the seal kit and get the numbers and google them and get on ebay and search the part numbers you can find them pretty cheap that way. There is a hydraulic shop in corbin ky that i use a lot i can usually get all i need to rebuild the jacks on my equipment for 50.00 bucks or less. check with hydraulic shops around you they will generally sell the kits of pieces you need. A lot of the shops will rebuild them for what the kits cost from the dealers. I bought rebuild kits for my old rollback for $5.50 a kit several years ago.

I wish it were that simple. That’s what I normally do, but these are a dead end. I’m probably gonna end up pulling them apart and finding seals with the same dimensions. But I’d much rather have them in hand so I can put em back together immediately instead of it turning into another unfinished project.

I take mine apart and go to the hydraulic shop to get the seals i need. Have you ever been in their room they keep their seals in they have probably 1000 differnt sizes and shape of seals hanging on the walls. It is like going to a grocery store they go down each isle till they find what you need.

Give me a bit until they open I’ll let you know what I can do.
