anybody in Charlotte work at Best Buy or a camera store?

I have a Canon digital camera that I've used for about 3 years...taken thousands of wheelin' pics...

but, it's gotten to the point that the automatic lens doesn't open or close all the way...

I have the 4-year service plan, but I'm fairly sure this won't fall under "normal" use...it probably just needs a good cleaning, as there's probably a pile of URE dust in it...

anybody work at Best Buy that could get it covered under the service plan?

or anybody work at a camera shop that could do this (maybe even on the side) for a fair price?

i have a few close friends that work there. ill get in contact with them and see what thye can do. also my x-girlfriend works at wolf camera. ill do the same ans see if she can help out

either will be fine...

if I could get the lens out, I'd just used some compressed air...but it has a little ring that pops off, but that's it...and I'd rather not open the whole thing up myself...
