Anyone know anybody with a place to stay?

We're thinking of a place to go on vaction this summer. I really want to go back to nagshead. Me and my G/f went down for Valentine's day and there was nothing open(which didnt surprise me). So does anyone know anybody that has a house, motel, or place they rent out kinda cheap?? We like to pier fish, gocarts, mini golf, civil war sites, aquariums, etc. I'm thinking possiably July sometime. And we dont want to go back to Carolina, cause theres nothing to do down there. Thanks
 
I've got a friend that his parents have a house right on the beach in nags head, but it ain't cheap. It's got like 7 bedrooms or something like that if you want to bring a bunch of friends to split the cost. I can get the pricing if you want.
 
Well, I dont really need a house. It's only me and my g/f. Does anyone know any privately owned motels with kitchenette rooms?? Any where on the east?? It doesnt have to be nagshead. I just want to find a place that has things to do besides shop and eat.
 
Emerald Isle has a bunch of things to do. Water park, go carts, jet skis, movies, clubs the Beach and I am sure there is more. They have a campground or two as well.
 
ok where do u stay at emerald isle??? I looked up motels and everyone i called the number was out of service. I need a room with a kitchenette.
 
all i think about when you say motel with a kitchenette is terminator I, were they are making pipe bombs in the motel
 
I looked in my phone book but it doesn't cover that area. It may fall under the Cape Carteret, or Swansboro. If I wasn't leaving tomorrow for Seattle I would take a drive for you and get some places.

alright i'll try that. I found a place thats 500 bux for 5 days 4 nights. ocean view, kitchenette, 2 double beds. Sound reasonable enough??
 
If your wanting to stay in the emerald isle area... try the sanddollarmotel.net ... They are in atlantic beach, privately owned. nice little place, fairly cheap, check it out.. I use to live right down the road from it... but to be honest the crystal coast doesnt have a whole lot to offer... a nice trip down I-40 then down 17 will bring you to myrtle beach, its not a bad drive and u will not run out of things to do down here.. you can stay at the holiday inn in little river for i think its 89 bucks a night.. and its on a nice little harbor... just an idea...
 
Also if you want to stay in atlantic beach, palm suites is a great cheap place to stay, the rooms are awesome....
 
If you do want to head to the OBX and just want a cheaper motel with a kitchenette, try:
Tan-A-Rama Oceanfront, Kill Devil Hills 919-441-7315.
It's not the most extravagant motel, but it is walking distance to one of the piers. I've stayed there a few times and the price is good (read cheap).

To be honest, i havent lost anything in myrtle beach. We went down there last year for a week. I wont go back. I think its overrated and over populated. I tried the link to sand dollar and nothing came up. i'll keep trying.
 
If you want to go towards Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach. Try staying in Newport or Morhead City. They aren't on the island and will probably be cheaper. I know of a place in Newport called the Hostes House. I dont think it is too much. Another option could be Swansboro. These are all little towns not to far from the island.
