I blew the head gasket on my 87 toyota p/u. The ole 22r couldn't take it anymore. Would anyoneout there be kind enough to help me put a new one on. I don't know enough about the engines to do it myself.

Well I'd be glad to help... but yer a bit of a hike fromme (oustide winston). If you can wait 2 weeks I'll be takin ga week off to goof around, could drop by then perhaps.

Meanwhile - do you have a FSM?
And when the time comes, there are a few "mystery bolts" tobeware of, particularly one on the intake...

FSM -> factory service manual

Yup the factory service manual is the best investment you can make in yer truck. Wil ltell you step-by step how to repair anything, and all the tools you need to do it as wel las pictures and part #s. About $60-100 on eBay.
The haynes manual for the Toy trucks is good in a pinch but pretty much blows.
