$15 per entry for participants Spectators are Free

-RTI Ramp Competition

Just got off with Skip @ Gulches, He will be at the show with a vendor tent letting people know about the park. He has also donated some shirts and ride passes to the prize giveaway!!! THANKS SKIP!!!


They have a couple different vendors set-up for the show for raffles and give-aways, should be a fairly decent showing.
 
Just talked to Tom at Carolina Driveline and he will be there too. I would love to go but thats the same date as our AL race... :(
 
its down to gulches or this event...I'm thinking i may come to this and try to run the competition...only thing is i'm beyond stock, below crawler but like not really into expeditions...I'm hoping to get Rugged Rocks Offroad to sponsor...I should know something next week

I also would love more details about the event

(In contact with RROR please contact me with more details to see what they could sponsor...I am working on one of their aluminum fairleads as of right now and maybe some other things)

Is there going to be any offroading at the offroad festival or is it just a car show for 4x4s? sound more like the later.

No wheeling, just rigs and festivities.
 
there will be an RTI ramp competition and a 4x4 Teeter Totter competition. There will also be an RC crawler comp. But yes, its mostly for show and to benefit the charity. But there is enough stuff being raffled off that its worth it.

I'm putting the jeep back together right now so it will be there.

I'm glad there will be an rti ramp there. I need to do some shock/limit strap testing.
 
I want to thank everyone who came out to the 2011 Spring Offroad Festival and made it a HUGE success!!! Thanks to your help we raised over $1200 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and had a TON of fun doing it!!! I didn't get any pictures, but I'm sure others did.

I hastily met a few of you, I hope to meet you again perhaps on a trail ride where I am not so rushed. Thanks for coming out guys!!!


The teeter totter broke a trailer axle spindle on the way down from Spartanburg, SC the morning of....bad news, but gives us something to work on and look forward to next year.
 
That was one steep rti ramp. I think Robert calculated it at about 44deg.
