Are BFG AT's directional tires?

Got around to rotating them today. Was told since they are radial tires, they just rotate front to back and stay on the same side (IE, Passenger rear goes to Passenger front, etc.)

On the side wall they have those fast forward button looking design. Is that just simply a design or is it actually a directional tire?

not directional.
There are a lot of theories on how to rotate radials vs bias ply tires.
most date to early radials having separation issues, which have largely been designed out.

When I went through Michelin tire school in 97-98 they specifically said they recommended not cross rotating because of decreased ride quality initially (until the crown is worn off the tire) but that cross rotated tires would last longer.
