It's obvious the surf fishing is causing the shark attacks What will they ban next??? swimming, piers? beach buggies ( oh I forgot they already do that) let's just ban anybody from walking on/enjoying the beach and surf. That would prevent all shark attacks on the beach............brilliant

We go down to Atlantic Beach next to Pine Knoll Shores all the time. There are very few people fishing on the beach any time the water is warm enough to swim. And there hasn't been a single bite there this year. It's just BS to give people a false security so they won't be scared to get in the water. I saw a 5' shark cutting up in 6" deep water while I was there over the 4th. Guess what, not a damn fisherman in sight.
