The board software looks at a number of different things in order to determine who gets access and who doesn't. I'm going to go ahead and bump you up. If it kicks you back out, let me know.

2 months membership, regardless of pay is required before the board lets you see the garage. Requirements are over 21, donating member, and member for two months before you gain access to the Garage.
