So I posted this thread about my plan of attach. Everything worked perfect minus forgetting to put a check valve in line on the pressure side. (Thats done now)
When I finished, I could build 150 PSI in my fire extinguisher(Tank) in about 15 seconds at 2000 rpm.
Couple days ago I fired it up and it took about 30 seconds.
Now, with the check valve in, I can't build more than 60 PSI AND the damn thing squealed like a pig after a minute or so of trying to get there. I took the inlet and outlet fittings off the compressor and manually added some oil to lube the thing. After another minute of squealing it quieted down.
Its still building 60 PSI, but that is useless.
I'm thinking the compressor is done for...thoughts?
Assuming it is, the question is, is there a internally lubed compressor that will bolt into the stock location? I'm really not wanting to reroute all my lines and fab brackets if I can buy something(I have to anyway) that will bolt in.
Thanks
