Art Carr shifters

So what's the deal with these shifters. I went to their website to check out the shifter I want to order. I found it for $270 big ones. The kicker is that it doesn't come with the mounting base. That's an extra $65 bucks. You would think for that price it would come complete. Is the base not something you need to have?

I got mine on special for about $199 with the base. They go on sale from time to time. They are heavy duty shifters but I'm not sure that they are necessary. Lokar makes nice shifters too for a lot less.

Call this place, you may be able to find what you need on their site, it kinda sucks. The Art carr is a copy of their shifter. They are cheaper than AC.

Look on ebay they art carr runs them on there. I got mine complete with everything for 240.00 shipped.

lokar's and art carr/winters are for totally different purposes.

I'm not using the base on mine, it's just attached via the bolts in the side of the shifter plate.

Called Art Carr yesterday to see what kind of deal they could do for me. Ended up ordering a shifter with the base for $251 and change shipped. I can live with it.
