anybody know of a good website dedicated to the auctioning/sales of car/tractor DEALERSHIPS? preferably in the Charlotte area.

check out adesa.com They have an auction on Westinghouse Blvd. in Charlotte. Not sure what you are looking for but they sell cars there. You gotta be a dealer to bid on them though

Adesa would be my recommendation. They have tons of stuff there. But yes you have to be a dealer or get hooked up with a dealer to go.

lol...

we are looking to purchase a tractor DEALERSHIP. We've already got more than enough cars:handed:

Ive never heard of dealerships being auctioned. why not do the work of contacting the manuf and creating your own dealership, no need to pay people for the work that you can do yourself.

maybe not a dealership with inventory, more of a former/closed dealership?

break out YOUR checkbook, big boy:lol:

Disreguard everything I said..

I am retard. Completly misread from the begining and now understand, you want to purchase a defunct dealerships inventory instead of a whole dealership

Theres alot of tractor manufacturers right here in charlotte. I used to work for Comer Industries which does Bush Hog & John Deere axles and also makes planetary housings for cranes and whatnot. The John Deere HQ is right down the road from me. Then you have some tractor dealership right next to Steele Creek Cafe not to mention the tons and tons of forklift dealerships around here. Seems like a pretty lucrative industry to get into, sure you want to venture into selling off farm equipment?

It's not as lucrative as it may seem.
Bruce, you were correct the first time. We are looking for a location to start up a new business. A defunct or recently closed dealership would be ideal because then we could bring in whatever brand we want, yet it would already be setup for what we want to do.

I know where there is a steal of a deal on n old car lot in Union....PM me if interested
