generally can be found for less $$...

and I've read quite a few good reviews on them...maybe they haven't been out long enough to get a lot of negative publicity, or to have anybody test long term dependability...

i've run my aussie locker for about a year now.
works great
you can't even tell it's there when your driving on the road.
very quite off road as well

My guess is you could get a "Lock Right" within $25 of the cost of the Aussie and lots of trail mileage on them out there. I am NOT dissing, the aussie but just thought I would mention that in passing.

From the 3 or 4 LRights I have helped put in, they are dead easy to do too. (Aussie is basically identical so it should be super ez install too) Concept is fairly simply, unless they are using "crap" metals to make them with I would guess the Aussie is "as reliable" as the Lock Right, etc.

I just recently put in an Aussie locker. It was simple to put in, very similar to the no-slip. The same guy who helped create the lockrite, made the aussie locker. The tolerances are very tight as well which i like. I have had no problems so far and it only locks up on the road when I stomp on the gas.

Ive only heard good stuff about them. Wondering how they do under the pressure of fairly large tires and if it makes turning much more difficult when the hubs are locked? I would venture to say it is a good locker though.
