so I get a call last night informing me that I had won some drawing that I had filled out at the auto expo in march. I call the 1-800 number the lady tells me to call this morning and they tell me all I need to do is go visit some out door expeditions resort or something in Virginia to claim me prize. I am a little skeptical and told them I have exams for another two weeks. should I follow through or is this a load of crap.

Sounds to me like the drawing was a "fishing" expedition for timeshare victims^H^H^H^H^H^H customers.
And you didn't "win" the big prize but you won a chance to go get a sales pitch.
:D

And a lifetime supply of fawkin' telemarketers & SPAM from the list they'll sale to the highest bidder in Croatia/Nambia/China!

Rule #389 - NEVER put your REAL address, home/cell numbers, or email addy on those forms! SEUs here wonder why they get so much SPAM, but turn right around & drop business cards in every "Chance to win a free xxx" fishbowl they pass!

I keep a HUGE stack of biz cards from all the sales turds that pester me at work...

expressly for dropping into "Win Me" boxes or handing out to the occasional Shacklee/Amway goober! :flipoff2:
