auto hubs

if you're in slacks and a dress shirt, and decide to go muddin' after church, you dont have to get out to lock them in. everything else, manual hubs win.

My old man had em on his Izuzu Trooper. That truck was in 4WD every other week (he worked in construction). They worked well, especially since paw was in a dress shirt and slacks :flipoff2:.

Used it a few times while going hunting. They just worked.

I wouldn't hesitate to have them on a stock truck but would pass if I was building a rig.

Fords suck. Every Ford I buy the first thing replaced is teh auto hubs. I was stranded bad by them on my Bronco a LONG time ago. Still havent got over it

my s10 had auto hubs i loved them because when i need to get myself out of those ditches late at night i could with ease, but i do like my manual hubs on my k5 its just the fact of having to get out and lock them.

Your S10 didn't have auto hubs unless it had a SAS, it had drive flanges and a vacuum operated center axle disconnect. Just sayin....

I prefer manual when at all possible, nothing will function more reliably than getting out and turning a knob. And to avoid getting by dress shoes muddy I tend to lock them before I get past the trailhead so I have no need to get out in the muck.
