Swapping out a c6 for a t18. I'm currently running a 351w in a 1973 Ford 2wd. Wondering what Bell housing I need to pick up, I've done quite a bit of research on it and correct me if I'm wrong but the np435 as well as the t18 and t19 all have the same bellhousing pattern. I've looked around for one but cant seem to find one Anyonethat actually says that it will bolt up between the t18 and the 351w.. so does anyone have some guidance for me? I've already picked up the pedals steering column, tranny, and the transmission hump in the cab. Anything is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You just need to find a 4 speed bellhousing that fits your motor. The t18 and np435 will both swap for one another. I just swapped a t18 for the broke 435 in my truck till I can build the 435.

thanks a ton man. What do you think about the t18 compared to the 435?

The 435 has a little lower gear in granny, first and second. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal but I've smoked the clutch in one season with the t18 where it held for the past four years with the 435. I definitely think it crawls better with a 435 (seems to be less clutch slipping involved), but I like the t18 better on the street cause I can stretch the gears out 5 to 10 mph more in first and second (I don't use granny gear on the street) which helps the underpowered 351m pull this junk up to speed.
