Auto Trans Rebuild

Where do you guys get your auto trans rebuilt? I may be in need of getting a 700r4 rebuilt, and wanted to know who is good, and who has good prices.

its a bit of a drive but b&m in thomasville helped me out. my friend rebuilt it at the college and couldnt get it right and he took it over there and the guy took completly apart and put it back together in an hour

ill give you a little bio on him he could rebuild a T350 and guarantee it when he was 12 years old

How much should a rebuilt cost?

No offense to the guys who rebuild transmisions but I would avoid having the newer electronic transmisions rebuilt at a you local back yard shop. I would go with a remanufactured transmision from someone like Jasper Engines/transmisions.

To rebuild it is going to be with in a couple hundred of getting a remanufactured but with a remanufactured they typically correct issues that originally made the transmission weak to begin with.

I had a 700R4 rebuilt at Earl Jackson's in downtown Rocky Mount once, they did a great job and it is still working great after about 40k hard miles.
