Auto Transfer case

So just bought a 86 bronco 2 witha mild lift and large tires. Replaced the clutch already, as it was shot. Now the push button 4x4 doesn't work. No big surprise, as I had to splice in a hotwire to the fuel pumps just to get it started. Is there anyway I can do the same trick to the transfer case? And if so how about getting into low range?
Oh its a manual 5 speed backed by a borg warner push button transfer case with auto locks up front to.
Thanks in advance!

Their are some sensors related to that motor that can go bad but its usually the motor getting stuck like a starter. Tap it with a hammer and see if it frees up. If not you can unbolt it and turn the gear with a 3/8 drive ratchet. Good to get you going but sucks for a premanent use, never thought about hot wiring it, works like a window regulator motor and without sensors to tell it when to go or stop might burn it up over time by putting it under extra load. BTW I've got one known good spare I'll sell for 50$ and another with a good motor and some low range gear damage for 20$. PM me if interested.

Just saw your location, find a local yard-shipping would cost more than its worth to buy.

wow...oklohoma...an NC forum is a bit of a stretch! lol, well, welcome to the south! Try TRS as mention before. if i remember right (been a while since i had a B2) you put in a manual case and not have to fool with it. ranger/B2 cases can be had for cheap.
