Avatar not working

Trying to get this avatar to work, i've seen others with moving avatars and it works in a post wondering why i cant get it to work on my avatar

IMO, I hate animated avatars.

Answer:

The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 58.6 KB (whichever is smaller).

Yours is: 128 by 136 pixels

Well I mean it let me use it it just wasn't animated, i just took a shot of the final and stuck it up there for now, but I used the one from the origional post and it worked just wasnt animated just stayed as the initial smiley face.

I am thinking that if it was a smaller image then the software would not resize it so it will stay animated.

ah that makes sense, I mean I got what I really wanted and that was the smiley ran over by a bogger, dont have a massive need to have it animated.

well all i know how to resize is with paint and it resizes it but won't keep the animation

Right click the pic, go to save as.

Find a site to upload it on to... then redirect your avatar picture to the new smiley

that will be a 10 dollar service charge just kidding

I was reading more about resizing animated gifs and it looks like most programs don't keep the animation if you resize it....I was working on a method last night to resize it....I'll try and figure it out today.

And no Laruen, when he pays ME the $10 service fee I won't split it with you.

That is correct.. 99% of image programs can not modify animater .GIF files..

usually the programs that can do cost money so most home computer users cannot fix it themselves.. but if you look hard there are free ones on the web
