where or who can regear a dana 30 & a 35 in or around winston salem i have 4.11 but want to put 4.88 init i've got the gears i just need them put in

closest and cheapest place i can think of around that area would be andy at carolina rock shop in charlotte
 
Nobody I know of up in Winston. Next closest would be Kevin Watts is in Cary. He does an excellent Job as well.

Do you have the master install kits as well? What brand of gear are they?

From the business I've conducted and the guys I know, I have no reason to doubt Galloway's 4x4 in New London. I've gone down there probably 10 times and I'm right beside winston. Travel time is about 50 mins if you have a lead foot, 1 hr-1hr and 10 mins if you drive exactly at the speed limit (which of course I condone....).

Not sure how theyd price you on putting the gears in for a fact, but from what I've learned cheap cheap isnt the best way to go. You get what you pay for in most cases.

PS- If you dont mind to take a mountain drive for 1 hr and half, go see Will up at Rock Bottom 4x4. He set up my D44 and 9". I would definitely recommend him.
 
LMS in taylorsville could do it thats about 45 or 50 minutes away 828 635 5426 probally reasonable also
 
Some places its cheaper, some places its the same for the most part. Really just depends where it is and what kind of axles they are. Anything with a third member is generally going to be a decent bit cheaper if you just bring in the third member.
 
Kevin Watts does all the gears for Sheldon at Goferit Offroad. He did my gears a year ago and they are holding up better than ever. CRS would be the next option but a little farther down the road.
 
I second the LMS in Taylorsville the man knows his shit. Give'em a call.
 
There is a place in near Charlotte here's the number...704-598-1000 the name of the place is Tarheel 4WD center. Also, there is a place in Walkertown that u could check into but they seem kinda pricy to me. The number for them is 336-723-9491

Havent done business iwth these gusy in yeasr, because of a botyched gear install issue. ANyone can make mistakes but they refused to make it right. When the rear started singing on THE WAY HOME FROM THE SHOP...

Maybe they had an idiot then, maybe they are better now.

But I would be careful here and get everythig in writing
