My Dad is rebuilding a '65 Cuda that has a Chrsyler 8.25" rear end.

He's looking for a Disc Brake conversion and was wondering if there are any axles out there he can rob the disc brake set up off of to go on his 8.25"

any common mods for this?

I would think you could find a newer 8.25 with disks or most the mopar guys ive seen just go with the ford 9 i know its simply wrong but to drag its a must if thats what the cuda is going to be... i hope this helps i dunno of any actual kits for it tho sorry

My service writer at the shop is doing the same thing in a 70 Duster. Think he was having a hard time finding a kit but i will ask him tomorrow and see if I can find out for ya.

its most likely an 8.75, not an 8.25 . not sure on the brakes though
these early Barracudas didn't come with a 8.75 stock. Not until 67 when they started putting 340s and 383s did they need the larger axle.I thought the ring gear was more in the 7 inch size than 8 quarter.

CROWN makes a from what i can tell bolt on kit for your 8.25 its like $530 bucks dunno how good it is seen few reviews that say works well with dual pistons cal but comes with single piston tho. thought this might help ya out lets see some pics of this MOPAR if ya get chance...

I found em on extremeterrain.com!
