axle shaft resplining

Does any of the vendors here do axle shaft resplining? Sometime in the future I am going to need a few axle shafts shortened, and would prefer to support a local vendor.

nobody in NC can respline an axle shaft?

Anyone with a dividing head and a spline cutter can do it but it may not be worth their time as doing it by hand takes a long time
