Axle shaft thrust washers

I order a set of spicer axle shaft service kits, and they came with what appears to be plastic thrust washers. Does any one have any experience running these or should I track down some brass replacements? thanks

If you mean the thrust washers on the stub shaft that ride against the back of the spindle on the front axle (D60, D44, etc.) then Ive been using the spicer or napa plastic ones for several years on both a 44 and a 60 and they look good every time I tear it down to service it (once a year).
