AXLE SWAP

so i have put yota axles under my 88.5 sammy but my problem is the rear emergency brake cables .the sammy cables are to short to reach,and i cant see how to interchange the yota ones to the sammy. any suggestions

yes, cut them off. i dont use any at all.

Dont cut it off too short...do a Tcase brake w/ it.

Cut them off, leave it in gear. Do it with my YJ and it works great. Just be careful if you are on a REAL steep incline

Since the driver and passenger side cables connect in the middle,I used the stock cable for the driver's side and made a longer passenger side cable with regular 1/8 - 3/16 cable. Fab up a simple bracket o hold everything in place and you can use the parking brake like it was intended.

As easy as E-brakes are to do, id make em work either using mismatch cables or by doin the Tcase brake
