I have one of the O so sweet B and M shifter with the little t handle lock out. My question is....has anyone taken the lockout off? It looks like a simple removal and I don't need the lockout. It would kill the option of shifting to reverse in a near rollover situation and it's agarvating to change gears.

I think you may be able to grind the "gates" down where you could slap it from 123 to r then it would stop. If you grind the right gates. This would be the ideal way. Same ideal as the art carrs, just a little different area to grind. Taking it off completely might allow you to go past reverse in a panic.

Yea....I want the option of throwing it in reverse if need be. I'm going to take the lockout off tomorow.

What I was getting at was grinding the notches for 123nr out so it would move freely between all those, all the way to reverse, but then the lockout would have to be operated to get to park. That could save your ass in a pucker moment, dont wanna be accidently slapping park when about to backflip.

gotcha....Thanks man

I was just about to add that link; I just bought a shifter just like Billa-Vistas cause of that show-n-tell video he made on the bottom of the page.

I will get a badass one like that later on.....I'm stuck with the crappy model for now

Put a reverse valve body in the tranny that way it Park R N 1 2 3.

I will in the next tranny. I think I'm going to have a 700r built or a TH350 with some 700r goodies
