Backpacks for Mitchell County

Tonya has started rounding up stuff for the middle school kids (3rd-8th) in Mitchell County.She has a contact in the school system that she's been working with and they are trying to get all the kids a little something for Christmas.Original plan was to adapt a family and just do them but they couldnt pick just one family since they are all in the same situation.So they are gonna do back packs for all the kids.They're 700+ kids(according to the lady in SP) and we have been given enuf back packs to cover them.We have several sponsors that are going to cover individual grades and all thats left is the higher grades.She has created a Amazon wish list for things to put in the back packs.We want to make sure all grades to have something.This is just suggested items,as our kids are grown and we are not exactly on top of what kids like these days.For those of you who have middle school kids and have a better notion of what they like feel free to send it and we'll make sure it gets to them.Tentative plan is to deliver the backpacks on Mon the 16 and they will be given out the last day of school on the 19th.So we would like to have everything by the 14th at the latest.Any help will be greatly appreciated.If you have any questions feel free to call/text me @423-329-6277/Steve.
