Does Anyone Know What The Proper Backspacing Would Be To Put 31-10.50-15 On A Rock Crawler Rim Without The Tire Sticking Out From The Body. It Is For An 82 Cj7. Would Like To Use An 8" Rim.

well from what ive heard stock backspacing is 5.5-5" so what ever is closest to that I would guess to be your best bet.

That's the lug pattern

Measure front wheel mounting surface to your fenderwell, subtract a couple inches for tire flex and so on, and that would be your maximum offset

i think he meant the stock BS ranges from 5" to 5.5". I know the BS on most stock jeep wheels is 5.25".

Also It Is Very Hard To Read A Post That Is Written Like This. :flipoff2:

4" on the backspacing, I dont think you are going to tuck that wide
of tire under there regardless. Unless you run the fender guards an
it will be close.

To find the width your looking for:

axle WMS + Wheel Width(x2) - Backspacing(x2) = Width

Example:
60" + (8x2) - (3.5x2) = 69"
