Just had the best Jumbo Bacon wrapped I've ever ate! Dixie Crossroads Resturant in Titusville Florida is fantastic! They specialize in preparing Shrimp in many different ways. I had the Coconut and Bacon combo and it was fantastic! I've eat a lot of shrimp but never have been brought BBQ sauce to dip them in! If your ever in the area, seek and find this old famous resturant and enjoy!
And another thought, Pulliam's Diner in Winston-Salem was named THE best Hot Dogs in the south recently! The Diner has been there since 1910! I love the food there and have tried to make mine as good as theirs! This was a big influence on the way I prepare mine. I grew up as a kid eating there! For the ones that have never been, there is no tables or chairs you stand up and eat like a man! You tell the cook what you want and grab your own drink out of the cooler and eat! Pay before you leave. It's a peice of history and Harry Leake eats there daily. He was a semi famous Nascar driver in the very birth of the sport!
