bad bussines

i usualy dont tash talk but i must warn every one in the ft. bragg area, stay away from performance off road. i took my jeep to them to have the drive shaft and steering shaft replaced, along with new motor mounts. after a month of "oh it should be done tomarrow" or "friday at the latest" i finaly had to have it back.....its my daily. they didnt even have it completely done the steering shaft is still at the welding shop. they suck and lie and have bad bussines habits stay clear unless you dont need you vehical back for awhile.
 
i still don't think that changes the fact that he got screwed. unless in your opinion if someone mispells some words they don't deserve good business practices
 
exactly, i don't like reading misspelled words any more than anyone else, but i'm not going to bash the guy, he got screwed and that sucks, i'm not from that area, but hearing something like this would definitely make me think twice about doing business with that place if i did live there
 
why does everyone jump to conclusions ever time there is a "i got screwed" thread?

i'm not saying he didn't, but damn you people are quick to get on the bandwagon.

why are you so quick to discount someones story? damn.
 
There is a club in Florence that uses them all the time. They are more the mall crawler type, but are pretty big and talk very highly of Performance Off Road. Of course maybe there are two of them. I thought they were in Florence or Dillon, SC.
 
Hey look they do screw everything they do up. I dont take my rig there because everybody that has complained about them. I take mine to competition auto in spring lake they take care of me and most of the time they fix the junk that comes out of that place.
 
I wonder if a post in the "shop referrals" would be better suited for other people's future reference?
 
Don't worry sarge... there'll be another 10K troopers fresh from the sandbox (with huge $$ stashes to burn) next week to keep them in biz installing BOB for months & months to come :rolleyes: ...

Maybe you should start a campaign on base to blackball the slackers? Just have MBA print you up some 6" vinyl letters reading "Performance Offroad supports Bin Laden!" and slap them on the side of your rig until summer! :lol:

well...my, my, my, first on the personal assault on my spelling, ...what do you expect from some dumb redkneck with just a high school edumacation, who cant type,sometimes i get in a hurry and forget to concider other peoples feelings, im sorry i hurt yours cperry by typeing too fast, you probly read slow, but as long as you get my point. second, im not trying to start a band wagon, i already have one, its red and can fly. i just want other people to know about a bad "BUSINESS" so they dont get screwd also. ........everyone else, thanks for the feed back.

please point out where i did that.

every time there is a related type post, there are people who immediately jump in taking the poster at his word without any additional evidence.

it's an unfortunate thing, but that's not the way the world works any more.

9 times out of 10 in situations like this, there tends to be alot more to the story. feel free to research it on ANY board.

i'm not saying the guy did or didn't get screwed. i'm saying there needs to be more of a process before people jump in hanging a company or person out to dry. damn.:shaking:
