bad u-joint

Park it on level ground. In Nuetral with wheels chauked (sp) Get under it and move drive shaft forward and backwards, side to side. Look for play in the movement.
 
NP. If you hear a ujoint sqeeking, it's already pretty much toasted. A shot of grease may get you out of the woods, but thats about it. If those little needle bearings are making noise, that means no lube and they are hot. So best to replace them befor carnage.
