Has anyone used ballistic fabrication for weld on brackets for coils mounts and for lower link mounts? I am getting ready to build a HP 44 for the front of my Cherokee and I am looking for cheap brackets. Just wondering if you all have good luck or bad luck with their brackets/mounts.

Thanks:
Robbie

i've got a bunch sitting in a box right now... the parts are about what you'd expect from a plasma cut bracket,(laser cut brackets would be cleaner) in that they'll require a few seconds with a grinder to clean up around the self-jigging fit, due to the kerf that the plasma leaves... the bolt holes are drilled so its a nice fit.

the shipping was fast, less than a week from ordering to my doorstep...

overall, i'm pleased with them, defintely worth the money in time saved...

I have been pretty disappointed with the quality of the cuts. I know it is a plasma cut, but they should really replace the tips more often. Of course I still keep ordering from them because at their prices it is worth it. Even if I have to clean everything up that takes a lot less time than cutting from scratch.

...my beadlock kit was a bit on the lame side...H2 aluminum kit I should say...I was expecting things to fit alot cleaner than they did...

...but yeah...price is right...

Wassup man, this is Robbie From ASU, I was Lincoln's roomie with the red XJ. Hope all is well and thanks for the imput man. Basically I am looking for a nicely priced set of brackets to add coils and links to a HP 44, I feel that Ballistic is the way to go. When I get the Cherokee complete (hopefully w/in a year) we ought to go wheeling. Talk to you later.

Don't forget to look at ruffstuffspecialities.com - he's got some niiice stuff at good prices, too.

You can also ping StudNuts, save you some shipping costs, since he's right down the road in Apex.
